Although the first thing that would probably come to mind when thinking of this place is their pork knuckle or German sausages, many proclaim their Black Forest cake here THE best in town. The moist and chocolaty cake layers are studded with cherries that are seriously boozy — soaked long enough in kirsch the way they should be, and they don't skimp on the chocolate shavings either!

Went 2 times on 2 separate Saturdays. Service is ok. But I find there is a shortage of staffs. 

The pork knuckles portion is just nice and tasty! 

Love the Black Forest cake! Very very delicious! Would go back and eat the cake again!

Having visited Germany a year or two back, Stuttgart is one of the place I heard and still yet to be checked on my visited list. All I heard was their reputable black forest and cuckoo clock factory. S-Cafe was decked out with woods, giving a quaint environment. There were even large green pine trees to mimic the forest environment or even those beer gardens in Germany. Atmosphere was generally interesting and definitely relaxing. For those who love nature, this might be a good choice for you.

Two stories high with an art gallery, a wine vault and a private dining room up the second floor. They really decorated this place rather nicely and it feels as if you’re eating at one of those traditional German cafes. Even their waitresses wear their beer maid costume!

The pork knuckle is superb. I can vouch that it's better than some I've had in München! Served with very good soft sauerkraut with good amount of tang & mash potato. Awesome!

 I never like to order blackforest cake. The reason is because most of the time they taste as if they are using a cough syrup to make it. Fortunately on that day, I decided to give it a try again especially when this restaurant claimed that their blackforest is the best in the world. That's a very daring claim! After the first bite of it, I would say this is really the best blackforest cake that I ever had in my whole life. I never know a blackforest cake can be taste this good.

Located very close to the center of the city, but not crowded. Good atmosphere and very reasonable prices for food and drinks. Food was good (we tried special sausages with potato and sauerkraut), wine was average (maybe wrong choice). Many options for beer. If you want to spend time in a quiet place for dinner - good place

I was surprised at how beautifully plated it was. The schnitzel was served on top of some creamy mashed potatoes and artfully doused in gravy (if that makes any sense to you.) I would say the portion was Asian sized, but still enough to make me full.

It was a German restaurant / cafe / lounge done in exact fashion of the Black Forest in Germany - the largest and highest mountain range in Baden-Wutternburg. It was so beautiful - all trees, ponds and water-wheels, as though one were really lost in the vast folds of Germany's Black Forest.

We were attracted to this place because of its quirky decor. Beer fest this year, this place was one of the stalls, for its beer. Hence, we decided to try their menu.

This place's big for a cafe in Singapore. They even have full-sized (fake) trees in the cafe!

As much as I love eating dim sum and various other Asian cuisines, I occasionally feel like a steak or another type of meat overload! This restaurant has all this, not a huge menu but enough to suit most palates. We had the single serve pork knuckle with sauerkraut and potato salad. If you came in a group 4-6 the offered a tempting platter with pork knuckle and belly, bratwurst, chicken etc, it looked lovely.
